Though Kanye West is still reveling in the critical and commercial success of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, he's still pumping out new music and possible tracks for the upcoming collaboration with Jay Z, Watch the Throne. To see what you've missed check out the Eyes Closed mixtape, and hear the much talked about H.A.M., the Lex Luger produced first single from Watch the Throne. Lex Luger also produced Rick Ross' B.M.F. (Blowing Money Fast) and Fabolous' Lights Out, as evident by a similar sounding synth in all three tracks. Check it.

Well the VMAs have come and gone and aside from Lady Gaga's meat dress, all the talk has been about the live performances. Though I really couldn't care less about Justin Beiber or Taylor Swift's performances as well as Eminem killing it as usual, the crowning moment had to be Kanye West's performance. Preceded by a montage of the Taylor Swift mike-jacking that occurred at last year's VMAs, Kanye premiered his new song, Runaway. Check it.

Lastly, on New Music Tuesday, I'd like to share a little Kanye West. His forthcoming Dark Twisted Fantasy (formerly titled Good Ass Job) is the follow up to his multi-platinum 808's and Heartbreak. Set to be released on November 16th, Dark Twisted Fantasy will feature the single Power and a recently leaked song See Me Know featuring Beyonce and Charlie Wilson available here or below. Though I was severely disappointed in the heavy use of auto-tune on his last album, 808s and Heartbreaks, Kanye West is still one of my favorite producers in the game right now. The unique way he's flipped samples has had my head bobbing since Jay-Z's Takeover and he has continued to impress following his entrance into the rap game. In an era where the most popular rappers are the ones with the most street cred, few were willing to give the young producer a chance to be a rapper. Love him or hate him, Kanye proved everyone wrong and went on to become a Number 1 selling artist as well as continuing to be one of the most sought-after producers in the game.
