50 Cent just can't seemed to be stopped. After making millions urging fans to invest in his new joint venture with TVGoods, and premiering a new line of headphones to sell through them, 50 Cent has stayed on his grind the only way he knows how: through mixtapes and remixes. Though we only just recently posted the Buzzin remix featuring 50 Cent, We thought it would be a good idea to highlight some of his other video appearance and a sick remix to boot. Enjoy.

Damn, the holidays are hectic. Traffic, weather, and shopping can all take it's toll along with holiday depression and we often forget to take the time to appreciate the little things in life. Well, this weeks Bass Thumpin' Thursdays is brought to you by the word Chillax and features four music videos from various artists and genres to help you achieve that feeling. Fun holiday tip: Note the titles of the videos and proceed in that order to really Chillax.

Bass Thumpin Thursdays - Fuck You

What's up Digital Readers? The theme of today is Fuck You. Not you personally, but a celebration of the phrase and all of it's uses. Cee-Lo Green recently made a splash with his new music video titled (you guessed it) Fuck You. Though the expletive-laden track is relatively new, a few venues refuse to play the song or the video, instead opting for the more radio friendly, heavily censored F You or the inoffensively titled Forget You. The video is actually one of the freshest I've seen in a while and if you don't enjoy it, Cee-Lo's got two words for you...

Next up is a song that kids today will be calling old school before you know it, but I can remember when it first dropped. Fresh in 1999, was Dr. Dre's second studio album 2001 and it's hard to believe that it's been 11 years since Dre has dropped that bomb on us. This album is the epitome of classic and, like The Chronic, I can listen to the disc from front to back without having to skip anything in the middle. Soon after, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Xzibit and Eminem embarked on The Up In Smoke Tour where they performed a bevy of West Coast G-Funk. Among the songs in the set list: a little ditty called Fuck You. Warning: This concert performance is NSFW.

Clearly not as gangster or demeaning as the first two, I've got to throw Lilly Allen in the mix. From her second album, It's Not Me, It's You, This British songbird's track is a soft and smooth way to say the two words of the day although it was originally known under it's working title of Guess Who's Batman.

Lastly, I'd like to present a song that I discovered long before 50 Cent hit it big. When Fiddy was just starting out, he inked a deal with Columbia records where he recorded two discs Power of the Dollar and Guess Who's Back. Although neither one was considered commercially successful, a copy of Guess Who's back landed on a young Marshall Mathers' desk and by the end of 2002, 50 Cent had been signed to Eminem's label with  a one million dollar deal. The rest, as they say, is history, but let's not forget the album that started it all. Track number 10 on the album: you already know what it is... Fuck You.

Bass Thumpin' Thursdays

Fuck I love Summer. Girls in bikinis, popsicles, and all the kids are out of school spending their disposable income so we usually see a surge of artists who push out their music just in time for Summer. Not to be left out in the cold, I'd like to bring you a few Summer Jams that have been making the rounds on my hard drive. First up is everyone's favorite hottie, Katy Perry with her anthem "California Gurls". I post this not because the song is everywhere and not because there is an appearance by Snoop, but because the video is so freaking sweet. Literally. BTW Peep Snoop's suit. Only he, or The Bishop Don Juan, could get away with wearing a suit like that. My white ass would be knocked out on the spot if I rolled outside in his get-up.

Next up is a classic from 1992 you may have heard of. If not, you better check yourself. Ice Cube's "It Was a Good Day" was one of the many single's spawned from his most successful album, The Predator. Though The Predator was a brutal and harsh depiction of Los Angeles, released only months after the 1992 L.A. Riots, "It Was a Good Day" was a stand out single that quelled the heat in the Summer of 1993 and made us all think about that one day when everything went right.

Now normally I don't like to promote French artists as those frog eaters tend to stink up the blog (jk), but Christophe Willem's video for Heartbox epitomizes the Summer video. You've got girls in bikinis dancing around, and non of the airbrushed nipples of American videos. You've got to love the French for not being shy about topless women (not that this video has any... I'm just sayin'). Check it out. It's on Christphe's album Caféine.

Finally, here's a classic that proves you don't have to be derogatory or misogynistic to make a good Summer anthem. Back in 1991, before the aforementioned riots, when Will Smith was known as The Fresh Prince, he used to rhyme alongside DJ Jazzy Jeff and break the masses off with something funky. Sampling Kool and the Gang's "Summer Madness", Jazzy Jeff created the Summer anthem of 1991. Although he can still slay a mike with family friendly lyrics, Will Smith's (aka The Fresh Prince's) "Summertime" remains one of the chillest treats in the heat.

Snoop Dogg - More Malice in Wonderland

Snoop's done it again. Not only is his album Malice and Wonderland one of the biggest hits of the year, but Snoop has decided to take choice songs from the album and make a movie out of it. The movie will be released in a deluxe re-packaging of Malice, entitled More Malice in Wonderland. Essentially, the movie is a series of music videos tied together with a loose story but Snoop definitely gets props for originality. It's definitely not The Wall, but it's worth a look.

No I don't watch soap operas but someone clued me into a guest appearance of Snoop Dogg on One Life to Life. He, obviously, had to do the radio edited G version Snoop Dogg, but peep the shades. We all know some red eyes are behind them.
