Bass Thumpin' Thursdays

Hey Hey Kids. Welcome to another edition of Bass Thumpin' Thursdays. I'm Veroncia Corningstone, Tits McGee is on Vacation. Today, Let's kick things off with a song by Marcel Woods titled Everything accompanied by an original video by Sensation White. Videos like this are the reason we created Bass Thumpin' Thursdays, so we can show exhibit them to the world.

Next up is the music video for Eminem's Love the Way You Lie featuring Rihanna. Shit. This video was posted literally one week ago on YouTube and has garnered over 30 million views. 30 million WTF?! Anyway, this may have something to do with Eminem being one of the biggest and best selling recording artists of the last decade or maybe the collaboration with Rihanna, whom people seem to be infatuated with. My bet is the decision to feature Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan as an abusive couple probably nabbed a few million views from horny teenagers googling Megan Fox in hopes of finding some topless pics.

Thirdly, is Instamatic with a Kleptones Mad Groove (Instamatic video mashup). The 6th video from The Videotones is about television - an intentional theme running through nearing all the videos but here Instamatic takes The Kleptones 'Mad Groove' and merrily skips through 24 films, TV shows and music videos channel surfing as he goes, causing upset and destruction in his wake. Remember: don't watch the blipverts, or your eyes will go square. See if you can spot all the references.

Sources used include: Poltergeist, Requiem for a Dream, Steal This Film II, Stay Tuned, Network, Pleasantville, Truman Show, Filth and the Fury, Medium Cool, Max Headroom, Videodrome, They Live, Evidence by Godfrey Reggio, Daft Punk - Robot Rock, YMO - Live, Great Rock n' Roll Swindle, Zabriskie Point, Ringu, Times Square, Last Emperor, Koyaaniqatsi, Kraftwerk - Tour de France, Double 99 - Rip Groove video...

Last up is the music video for Ice Cube's new single, I Rep That West. Ice Cube has been in the rap game for over two fucking decades and though kids today may know him better for his acting roles than his lyrical talent they need to check themselves. Ice has brought us classic after classic so without further dick-riding, I bring you the new video for the new single, I Rep That West. Stay classy San Diego.
